Barow
BAROW-- 1) Barow- a village in the 3rd Police District of Oszmiana
province within the Logomowicze gmina (5.3 miles away). There were 186 taxable
inhabitants in the 1865 census. It belongs to the Nikolaev estate of Count
Zamoyski; 2) Barow Wielki-- a village and estate in the same province and
police district as above, 4 miles to Logomowicze. The village has 75 taxable
inhabitants. In 1865, the estate belonged to the Slipkowat family; at present to
Jan Sielanki. 3) Barow Maly-- a village and estate (same powiat and
police district as above). The village has 43 taxable inhabitants. In 1865, the
estate belonged to the Besarowicz family, today it belongs to the Trejkowiczes.
