Posen High Schools Indexing Project
The ultimate goal of the Poznan High School Indexing Project will be to create a database of the most important information extracted from high school records of communities which existed in the Province of Posen, today the Wielkopolska or Poznania region of Poland in the years 1555-1915, with most records being after the 1820s and some schools having only records for the 20th century. The database will then be available on the PolishRoots server. We still need many volunteers to join this effort and transcribe data from these schools! Imagine how thrilled you will be if you find a relative or a famous person listed in the records!
