This
database contains information extracted from high school records of
communities which existed in
the Province of Posen, today the Wielkopolska or Poznania
region of Poland.
Special thanks go to Edward David Luft, who brought this project to
PolishRoots, Angelika Ellmann-Krüger, Frau Helga Frenkler, who is pictured
above holding some of the original volumes from which our data is
extracted, Elyssa Kowalinski one of our major
transcribers, and to all the other volunteers who have selflessly
contributed many hours to this exciting effort.
