Introduction

PolishRoots has decided to link to the Databases of the Polish State Archives, since their SEZAM site will show you holdings of many of the Archives within the current boundaries of Poland.

How to Use

1- Under the Vital Records and civil registers PRADZIAD, select the Data base bar.

2- Enter the town name you are searching in the enter the name of the town box.

3- To limit the search to Roman Catholic records, go to the select the creed box and choose rzymskokatolickie.  This will bring up all holdings, regardless of the Archive, for the specified town.  It is also possible to broaden a search by entering the name of the district to see what holdings exist for adjoining locales.
